This lens features two double-sided aspherical elements & a 12 aperture blade diaphragm - allowing exceptional performance from F22 all the way to wide open.
The 50mm f1.2 is designed for use with both digital and film photography and is equipped with a rangefinder coupling cam. The minimum close focus distance of this lens is 70cm, but with the VM-E Close Focus Adaptor mounted on an E-mount digital camera with live view function, it is possible to photograph as close as 41.7cm.
Both the LH-8 and LH-10 lens hoods can be used with this lens. The LH-10 was designed with this lens in mind, though you can also use the more compact LH-8.
