Based on over 25 years of filter holder experience, extensive customer feedback and product testing, LEE has completely redesigned the 100mm filter system holder to incorporate some clever new design features and benefits. These enable better performance, more ergonomic handling as well as improved aesthetics and weight reduction.
The new LEE100 holder is compatible with all current filters and adaptor rings (both standard and wide-angle).
The innovative modular design allows the photographer to easily change the number of filter blade slots and enables the rapid mounting of additional products, making it quick and simple to use on location.
A multi-function control pin allows the LEE100 filter system holder to be quickly mounted with one hand onto lens adapter rings. It can be rotated and locked or just locked in a specific position to suit ND Grads and other filters.
Precision engineering
Precision engineered from injection-moulded composite materials, the LEE100 Filter Holder is sturdy, rigid, durable and 16% lighter than its predecessor.
Spring release and locking ring
Pull on the spring release (which can be operated one-handed) to slot the holder onto the adaptor ring. The blue locking ring has three possible settings - neutral, half
lock and full lock.
Neutral: The holder can both be rotated and quickly removed.
Half lock: The holder can be rotated but is locked to the adaptor ring, and cannot be removed from it.
Full lock: The holder cannot be rotated, nor can it be removed from the adaptor ring.
Filter-guide blocks
Brand-new modular filter-guide blocks come in one, two and three-slot configurations. These can be quickly and easily swapped overusing the filter-removal tool supplied. The blocks snap into place and remain secure until the photographer is ready to change them. Up to three filters can be used with today's wide-angle lenses without the risk of vignetting.
