The Voigtlander NOKTON 75 mm F1. 5 Aspherical combines the synergistic effect of a large aperture of F1.5 aperture and a slightly longer focal length to make this medium-telephoto lens ideal for photographic expressions that blur the background. Despite its large diameter, it is both compact and high-performance. By adopting an aspherical lens, excellent descriptive power is demonstrated from the wide aperture.

Equipped with electronic contacts, the Exif information of the shooting data reflects the usage status of the lens, and the body side can be set ON/OFF to electronically correct peripheral light intensity, magnification chromatic aberration, and distortion aberration. Since it has a built-in distance encoder, it also supports 5-axis image stabilization on the camera body side. It is also possible to enlarge the viewfinder by operating the focus ring.

The lens projects a full-size image circle and uses an optical design optimized for Sony E-mount sensors. High resolution is maintained to the periphery of the screen, and phenomena such as colour casting are suppressed.

In order to make the holes formed by the diaphragm blades closer to a circular shape, a 12-element diaphragm is adopted. The out-of-focus part is a natural depiction, and the point light source is not a polygon, but a round and soft bokeh.

Although it is a large-aperture lens with a maximum aperture of F1.5, the minimum aperture can be set up to F32. At f/1.5 with the maximum aperture, you can enjoy a large bokeh, while at f/32 at the smallest aperture, you can get deep focus.

The aperture click switching mechanism makes it possible to open and close the aperture ring steplessly without generating a clicking sound. This eliminates the need to worry about picking up the sound of the aperture ring when recording videos, and it is also possible to control the depth severely by fine-tuning the aperture ring.
